A token-based read-only diary API, auto-generated OpenAPI docs and Memos webhook sync make your diary part of any workflow.
Diary API
Enable the API in Settings → API access to get a personal token, then read your entries from anywhere:
# One day
curl "https://diary.example.com/api/v1/diaries?token=<token>&date=2026-10-10"
# A date range
curl "https://diary.example.com/api/v1/diaries?token=<token>&start=2026-10-01&end=2026-10-07"
A single-day request returns:
{
"id": "…",
"date": "2026-10-10",
"content": "<h2>First autumn hike</h2><p>…</p>",
"mood": "😊",
"weather": "☀️",
"exists": true
}
A range returns { "diaries": [...], "total": n }. Reset the token at any time to revoke the old one, or switch the API off entirely.
Automation example: a weekly report with n8n
- Create a workflow with a Schedule Trigger for Sunday evening;
- An HTTP Request node calls
/api/v1/diaries?token=…&start=…&end=…for this week; - An AI / LLM node writes the report;
- Send it to yourself by email, Telegram, Slack…
The same pattern gives you monthly reports, yearly reviews, daily reminders, or a sync into another notes system.
OpenAPI docs
Every Diarum instance documents itself:
/api/v1/openapi.json— an OpenAPI spec generated live from the registered routes;/api/v1/docs— interactive Swagger UI.
Memos sync
If you also jot quick notes in Memos, enable Settings → Memos sync to get a webhook URL and add it to Memos.
Creating, editing or deleting a memo then updates the diary entry for the memo’s creation date. Each memo is its own block with a link back to the original.
Version endpoint
/api/v1/version returns the running version for monitoring and upgrade checks.
